In 2007 I wanted to try off-road riding in Spain, and when I mentioned this to Sandy and Vic they were keen to join me. Danny – another biking friend who doesn’t qualify for the “old age” tag – was also keen to join us.

So in April 2007 the 4 of us set of to Barcelona and then South to the Terra Alta mountains  for a 5 day holiday with Trailbike Tours.

The 3 full days on off road bikes were mentally and physically tiring and the high seats on the Suzuki and KTM bikes tested our Team Motto to the full.

It was a great adventure and I would hope to do it again.

The only “down side” was when Victor felled a tree with his chest  - the bike seemed OK but Vic had a fractured sternum.
